The system enables the non-invasive measurement of various peripheral physiological signals in humans: electrodermal activity (EDA/SCR) as an indicator of physiological arousal; electromyography (EMG) to measure muscle tension; and heart rate (HR). Using the accompanying AcqKnowledge software, the data can be analyzed to determine, for example, heart rate variability (HRV).
